Attend Industry Week 2023

The industry sector will be in the spotlight from 27 November to 3 December 2023.
Since 2011, National Industry Week has been showcasing the sector through a variety of events designed to present current issues and offer career opportunities. The programme includes company visits, professional meetings, career forums, web conferences, classroom presentations and workshops.

Industry in France

France ranks 8th among the world’s industrial powers. In fact, industry is one of France’s main sectors, accounting for 12.4% of GDP, including 10% for manufacturing.

With a turnover of 1255 billion euros, the sector counted 274,212 companies in 2021, a record year since 2009. This upturn after the Covid-19 years can be explained by a definite increase in plant start-ups and more than 32,000 new jobs, according to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Industry is made up of 19 sectors, making it rich and full of opportunities. These include aeronautics, food, fashion and luxury goods, waste processing and recovery, automotive, nuclear, mining and metallurgy…

The 2023 edition, “With industry, build your future !

This 12th edition of the national industry week has as its theme ” With industry, build your future”.The main objective is to promote the sector and make it attractive to young students who want to contribute to its dynamic and innovative development.

French industry is currently undergoing a digital transformation towards a 5.0 industry of the future, with greater connectivity.

A total of 5,500 events are planned to introduce you to the different services offered by industrial companies, the different professions and the 60,000 jobs that are ready to welcome you. You can search for events in your region on the French Government website: Semaine de l’industrie.

We are also taking part in this event

As part of National Industry Week, we are delighted to welcome a class of students on a professional baccalaureate to help them find out more about our sector and our professions.
They will be joined by Cedric Thisse, Myriam Mokhtari, Sylvie Lainé and their teacher Anthony Di-Folco, formerly maintenance manager at Maviflex.
In line with our CSR commitment: equality and inclusion, it is important for us to share values that will contribute to the development of our society.
So we’re pleased to share our experience with these students and show them how our Research and Development activities are organised, right through to the production phase.
